CHIA – seeds

Product description: Chia seeds are derived from the Spanish sage (Salvia hispanica L). The plant was originally cultivated by the Aztecs and accounted for them one of the three main sources of food, just after beans and corn. Chia seeds are useful in the preparation of beverages and pastries (eg. Bread).

How to use: Can be used as an additive to various dishes like salads, soups, oatmeal, smoothies. It’s can be used well as an addition to vegetables, grits, pancakes and even bread. The maximum daily intake is 15g. In the case of bakery products – not more than 10%.
